“Hi, I’m Mar (they/them) and I’m the Neurodiversity Network Coordinator at Active Impact.
I’m autistic and ADHD, as well as being a parent carer to neurodivergent children.
This user-led Network is for activity providers and for neurodivergent people and their families.”

Introducing the Neurodiversity Network to individuals and families
-
If you are an activity provider, the Network is a fantastic opportunity to learn from each other and from neurodivergent people and their families, to empower you to create more inclusive activities that meet the needs of our communities. There’s a variety of ways to take part, from simply opting into receiving updates, to coming along and being part of meetings.
-
If you are a neurodivergent person or have a family member who is neurodivergent, the Network is the chance to join a conversation with activity providers and to share what you want to see happening locally as well as what would enable you to access these activities. You are invited to share your views in any way that is easiest for you.
-
Some of our Network meetings will be exclusive to neurodivergent people and their families – we hope this provides an environment in which everyone feels able to express their experiences. We’d love you to be part of it.
